Voice over IP (VoIP) phone number, and e-mail address with the Alert Hamilton County
Emergency Mass Notification System. Because this form uses a login and password,
you can come back to this form at a later date and change the information you have
entered in the event your phone numbers change.
Hamilton County Emergency Management with the support of the Local Emergency Planning
Committee, and Hamilton County 911 has implemented a mass notification system that
has the capability to rapidly contact county residents and businesses via recorded
phone messages, text messages, or e-mail messages in case of emergency.
Hamilton County Emergency Services will use Alert Hamilton County to notify residents
and businesses of emergencies or critical situations and provide information regarding
necessary actions, such as the need to shelter in place or evacuate.
Alert Hamilton County utilizes registered contact information to notify the user
of an emergency situation associated with the registered address. If the call is
picked up by an answering machine, the system will leave a recorded message. If
the number called is busy or does not answer, the system will redial the number
in an attempt to deliver the message. The system is TTY/TDD compatible to serve
people who are hearing impaired.
If you have a landline, cellular, or Voice over IP number or if you would like an
e-mail notification, you must register those telephone numbers and/or e-mail address
by completing the registration form below. Each telephone number and/or e-mail address
can only be associated with one street address in the system.
Each telephone number and e-mail address registered below will be contacted
only when the street address it is associated with is impacted by a disaster or
emergency.
Hamilton County, TN will not share or distribute personal information gathered
by this form and will use it solely for the purpose of providing emergency notifications.
CAUTION: While the County’s mass notification system is considered
effective and efficient, you should not wait for or rely exclusively on the system
for emergency directives if you think you are in danger. If you think you are in
danger, you should take appropriate action. Always follow the directions of emergency
personnel.
Passwords need to be safe enough to protect your personal
information. To make a password please use letters, numbers and special characters.

using this form and your login email address and password. If you login using
your email address and password you created, then enter someone else's information
where your information is already, your original submittal will be overwritten with
