Job Description:
|
|
Employees in this classification are under general supervision of the primary care medical director to provide behavioral health counseling to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Provides comprehensive assessment and diagnosis for behavioral health clients; provides effective treatment planning and assists clients in successfully achieving goals; evaluates crisis situations and applies appropriate interventions; assists in the detection of “at risk” patients and development of plans to prevent further psychological or physical deterioration; assists the primary care team in developing care management processes. Completes and maintains all clinical documentation, files and records. Actively participates in meetings that support the Clinic’s integrated health care model. Develops and maintains liaison activities with community health providers. Must be able to flex clinical hours to meet client needs and to perform other related duties as assigned.

PhD in Clinical Psychology and licensed or license eligible by the State of Tennessee. A valid driver’s license is required. Applicant must be able to effectively communicate in both oral and written form.
