Job Description:
|
|
Employees in this classification are under general supervision to provide medical care to patients and clinical oversight of primary care services. Provides primary care including office care, sick care and well patient checkups; orders and reviews medical tests; provides supervision of nurse practitioners; provides counseling to patients and provides referrals to other health care providers when appropriate. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Employment Standards:

Graduation from an accredited school of medicine with State of Tennessee medical license and DEA registration. Preference to candidates who have completed residency, are board certified or eligible for board certification in Family Practice. Applicant must be able to effectively communicate in both oral and written form.
