whom the HCME has not been able to identify. For some of the individuals,
photographs or sketches of the face (or facial reconstructions) are
available to assist with identification.
Please remember that facial reconstructions are prone to error and may not resemble the individual in question-- especially regarding hair color/pattern/distribution. The Hamilton County Medical Examiner Office is making widely visible the profiles of unidentified individuals so that they may be identified and, hopefully, allow the investigations surrounding their deaths to proceed. This web page has the support of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department and Chattanooga Police Department, who are conducting these investigations.
