PILOT Program
The PILOT Program which stands for "Payments in Lieu of Taxes" program allows large companies to be exempt from certain property taxes. The taxes are handled by three boards: the Industrial Development Board of Chattanooga, the Industrial Development Board of Hamilton County, and the Health Education and Housing Facilities Board.

Information includes the company, the length of each company's participation, the amount of expected taxes and the tax exemptions given through the program. Each of the cards below include links to the detailed documents and a short summary beneath. Please note that company participants are typically granted 10 to 20 years on average, so you will see companies repeated from year to year.
