Recycling Electronics at Orange Grove
You can now take outdated computers and other small, broken household appliances
and telecommunications equipment to the John F. Germ Recycling Center at Orange
Grove, located at 720 Arlington Avenue in Chattanooga (37404) between the hours of 9: 00 am
and 2:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY.
Follow 3rd Street from UTC towards Memorial Hospital until you reach
Dodson Avenue (turn beside the Kentucky Fried Chicken). Turn left on Dodson Avenue
and right at the 3rd building on the right. Look for John F. Germ Recycling Center
on the front of the building. Go in the front door or the door on the far right
side of the building. Someone will be there to direct you further.
What Electronics Orange Grove Recycling Center Accepts:
- computers
- office/cellular/fax phones
- stereos and radios
- DVD/VCR players
- It's free to dispose of all items listed above - *
EXCEPT Computer Monitors are a $10 fee to drop off and recycle

What Electronics Orange Grove Recycling Center DOES NOT Accept:
- Televisions
- microwaves
- air conditioners
- large appliances
- For businesses and those with a large volume of material need to call ahead
at 493-2942
The items not accepted by Orange Grove may be taken to Hamilton County's East
Ridge Transfer Station (behind East Ridge Hospital),
Sequoyah Transfer Station, 9525 Lovell Road, Soddy-Daisy, or the Landfill on Birchwood
Pike.
