Lieutenant David Burdett,
Customer Service Coordinator Officer 

 

David Burdett started his career in Emergency Services in 1988 as a volunteer firefighter with Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department. He became an EMT in 1992 and then a Paramedic in 1994. He started at Hamilton County EMS in 1993. In 1995, he became a First Responder instructor doing classes for Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department. In 1999, he began to assist as a lab aid in the EMS Program at Chattanooga State and in 2000 he became a state certified EMT Chattanooga State. In January of 2006, he moved into the position of Instructor Coordinator for the EMS Program at Chattanooga State. In September 2006, he was promoted to a lieutenant as the Field Training Officer for Hamilton County EMS.

David and his wife, Michele, also an EMT and a real estate agent, have been together for 12 years. They have two wonderful and beautiful children, Brandon 10 and Victoria (Tori) 7. For relaxation, David spends time with this family, read books and watches films on the American Civil War, watches football (Go Titans!), and plays video games.
