Lieutenant David
Burdett,
David Burdett started his career in Emergency Services in 1988 as a
volunteer firefighter with Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department. He
became an EMT in 1992 and then a Paramedic in 1994. He started at
Hamilton County EMS in 1993. In 1995, he became a First Responder
instructor doing classes for Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department.
In 1999, he began to assist as a lab aid in the EMS Program at
Chattanooga State and in 2000 he became a state certified EMT
Instructor. In January of 2006, he moved into the position of
Clinical Coordinator for the EMS Program at Chattanooga State. In
September 2006, he was promoted to a lieutenant as the Field
Training Officer for Hamilton County EMS.
David and his wife, Michele, also an EMT and a real estate agent, have been together for 14 years. They have three wonderful and beautiful children, Brandon 12 and Victoria (Tori) 9, and Alex 6 months (the easiest baby ever and all smiles). For relaxation, David spends time with his family, read books and watches films on the American Civil War and the American Revolution, watches football (Go Titans!), and plays video games.
