Lieutenant Mike Hyde B Shift Mike Hyde began his EMS Career as an EMT-IV in 1991; he has served with Hamilton County EMS since May 15 2000, became a Nationally Registered Paramedic in Dec. 2003 and was promoted to Lieutenant in 2010. He was awarded Stretcher Bearer of the Year in May 2003 and Medical Call of the Year in May 2008. Mike is also licensed as an LPN and is a Veteran of the Army National Guard with 12 years of service as a Military Medic as well as a Cavalry Scout. Mike and his wife Laura have been married since 1986 and have two sons, Matthew and Nathan. Mike enjoys spending time with family, is a licensed Ham Radio Operator, and continues to volunteer with his local Volunteer Fire and Rescue Dept. alongside his oldest son Matthew. |
