Friday AgVenture Day
300 – 400 inner city elementary school
students will visit the fair on Friday for
an exclusive program with complete with
booths whose themes depict “Where Your Food
Comes From”. Students will also visit the
Eudora Farms Animal Education Tent for a
show featuring exotic animals. The event will be provided
free. Transportation, lunch and healthy
snacks are included.
Little Miss
& Mr County Fair Contest
Girls and Boys ages 3-6 will vie for the title.
Contestants will wear t-shirts provided
and may be chaperoned by a parent. The
Female winner will receive a tiara, sash, and a $100 Visa Gift Card and
The male winner will receive a crown, sash, and a $100 Visa Gift
Card.
Square Dancers
featuring groups from Allemande
Hall and Chattanooga Area Square Dance Association performing on the
Dallas Island Stage.
Eudora Farms Animal Education Tent
This giant animal education tent will
feature dozens of exotic animals and hourly
shows presented by professional zoologists.
Wonder Dog Exhibition
The Chattanooga Obedience Club will provide
hourly shows twice each day in the horse
arena featuring agility, rally, freestyle,
and flyball exhibitions.
Cheerleading Contest
United Cheerleading will coordinate a
competition open to all Hamilton County
middle and high school cheerleading squads.
They will provide all equipment,
coordination, and judging of the event.
Bungee Jump
A quad trampoline bungee jump will be set up
in the new Fun Zone (children’s area)
located at the end of Vendor’s Row.
Antique Cars, Tractors & Engines
Dozens of antique cars compete for County Fair plaques.
Walk around and see how the competition measures up! Now in a
bigger, more expanded area to showcase even more Antique
Cars, Tractors and Engines!!
The Finest antique tractors around will be on display as judges determine the fairest of
the the fair, see them shine and hear them run.
Tour the antique engine display and hear the chug-chug of the steam engines as you stroll
back in time!

Centered Events & Flower Show
Step into a world of America's beauty. Spectacular flowers and breathtaking
arrangements make this year's show the biggest and best yet. Come
see hundreds of
wonderful entries in the
Home Centered
competitions. This year the categories include
crafts, canned goods, baked goods and clothing.
Historical
& Educational Exhibits
Blacksmithing, dulcimer making, recycling, boating safety, storm water management,
greenways, woodworking, mining, model cars, railroad
exhibit. Scenic Cities Beautiful
Commission, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Hamilton County Sheriff's Department, Voter
Registration, A.A.R.P., and organizations concerned about your health and wellness.
Arts
& Crafts
Come see and enjoy the handiwork of some of the
finest artists and craftsmen in the area. Over 50
County Fair Crafters have stocked their
booths with an array of clothing, wood workings, jewelry, and everything imaginable to
decorate your home year round or just for the holidays.
Have your name put on a
grain of rice and made into a beautiful piece of jewelry. Pick out your favorite "yard art", and stock up on delicious jams and jellies,
available "sugar - free" if you wish. Dont forget, if you purchase items
too large to carry around or to get on the bus, ask the vendor about the
County Fair
Parcel Pickup Program. Theyll give you a claim check, and well take your
purchases to our truck at Northgate Mall, and hold them till you arrive. What could be
easier ??
Touch & Pet Zoo
Children will delight at the sights, sounds, touch, (and smells)
of the farm animals on display. New this year will be the Eudora
Farms exotic animal displays with Gazelles, snakes
and more.
Agriculture & Livestock Exhibits
Continuous exhibits all day Saturday & Sunday!
Experience a bit of
"Life on the Farm!" See cattle, sheep, rabbits, swine,
chickens, goats, horses, ducks, and ferrets. Animals on display and many in competition
for County Fair Blue ribbons. Talk with local experts and see some of the best fruits and
vegetables anywhere. Enjoy wagon and pony rides all through the agricultural and livestock
area.
Equine Exhibits & Demonstrations
Demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday. Exhibits include pleasure driving,
parade of breeds and shoeing. Times of specific activities will be posted at the horse
arena.
Sorghum Mill
See horses squeeze "sweet" sorghum cane to make delicious syrup.
Watch as the syrup is "cooked down".
It's a favorite at the County Fair and located by the Pickin' Porch.
Commercial Vendors Exhibit
The
County Fair Commercial Vendors Tent is brimming
with products for you, the home, farm, lawn and garden.
Need a home alarm system? Or
landscaping for the lawn? How about a food plan to save you money? From cosmetics, to lumber, from tractors to
hand tools, the Commercial Vendors Tent is a sight for the home enthusiast and everyone
interested in getting good value for their money. Weve filled the tent to
overflowing and lined up some exhibitors as you approach the tent. Vinyl siding, travel
trailers, fishing lures and a Woodmizer Portable Sawmill all on display for you outside
the Commercial Vendors Tent. Whether you buy or browse, dont miss the
