How To Apply
Hamilton County has a new electronic application process. Applicants can complete an application from any computer that has access to the internet. We accept applications for positions that are listed on our job opportunities page. You may also apply in person at the Human Resources Department in downtown Chattanooga. Our new online application process is powered by NEOGOV. You will create an account via GovernmentJobs.com.  This is a national recruiting job board where Hamilton County Government jobs are posted. No phone calls please. Due to the large volume of applicants we are not accepting calls regarding the status of applications or positions. Thank you!

The Human Resources Department is located on the first floor of the Newell Towers building at the corner of Walnut Avenue and 7th Street in downtown Chattanooga. Directions are here. Office hours are from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday - Friday.
