- What is Parents Are First Teachers?
A program to teach parenting skills and early childhood education information to
parents in Hamilton County who have children, prenatal to age 5.
- Who is eligible for service?
Parents or caregivers in Hamilton County who have a child prenatal to age 5. Preference
is given to first time parents.
- Is there a charge for this service?
No, services are free to residents of Hamilton County.
- Where does the service take place?
Services are delivered in the home and/or PAFT Centers or other community buildings.
- When are the services delivered?
Personal in-home visits occur every 4 to 6 weeks and Parent group activities occur
monthly.

service?
When you call you will be advised of when you can expect service. Service
is dependent upon an available Parent Educator.
