| The County Attorney is appointed by the County
Mayor with the approval of the County Commission. This office is responsible for
representing and defending the County in all litigation; attending all meetings of the
County Commission, advising the County Commission, County Mayor, and other officers
and employees of the County concerning legal aspects of the County's affairs; and
approving as to form and legality all official documents.
