- To educate our citizens about the impact of littering
- To raise public awareness of litter laws and to enforce them
- To reduce roadside litter
- To reduce neighborhood litter
- To reduce construction site litter

Objectives:
- Coordinate anti-litter education programs
- Mayor Ramsey urges municipal mayors and sheriff to enforce litter laws
- Create and administer anti-litter multi-media publicity campaign.
- Send letters from Mayor Ramsey to waste carriers and general contractors asking
for their cooperation in reducing litter
- Distribute flyers with building permits urging litter-free construction sites

Always put your trash in a trash can.
Carry a litter bag in your car
Don’t let trash escape your trash can at pickup time
Make it a habit to pick up litter during your daily activities
Set a good example – Encourage others not to litter
