To comply with applicable Federal and State clean water laws and regulations by protecting water quality by preventing pollution, providing education on the importance of water quality to the environment and the public health, and promoting public involvement in the stewardship of the local water environment.

The Hamilton County Storm Water Pollution Control Program includes East Ridge, Collegedale, Ridgeside, Lakesite, Red Bank, Soddy Daisy, Lookout Mountain and the urbanized portion of unincorportated Hamilton County.

Tennessee State Requirements for the program are:
  • Provide public education and outreach regarding storm water
