County Attorney
The County Attorney is appointed by the County Mayor with the approval of the County Commission. This office is responsible for representing and defending the County in all litigation; attending all meetings of the County Commission, advising the County Commission, County Mayor, and other officers and employees of the County concerning legal aspects of the County's affairs; and approving as to form and legality all official documents.
Their primary function is to provide legal representation and counsel to ensure that all County functions are performed, and all County interests are protected in accordance with Federal, State and County requirements
